Coast Mountain Building is Caleb and his team. Caleb is hands on with every job, which is why every one of his reviews names him.

His clients keep saying the same things: on time, tidy, honest with updates, and a real eye for detail. He works with good trades, and he'll suggest ideas that add value to the job before it goes in.

Licensed in both Queensland and New South Wales, he builds anywhere from Northern NSW up to the Gold Coast, from coastal backyards to hinterland blocks.

What we build

Renovations, new builds, extensions.

And the decks, pool areas and finishing details in between. Every job is scoped around what you want, then built properly.

    Renovations

    Big renovations and small but impactful ones. New floors, new rooms, a home brought back to life, with clear and honest updates the whole way through.

    New builds

    From the floor frame up. After many homes and transformations for other people, the team is now building one of its own, the Kookaburra build.

  3. 03

    Extensions

    More room without moving house. Extensions planned around the way you actually live, built by a licensed builder in QLD and NSW.

  4. 04

    Decks

    Rotted joists out, level new frames in. Spotted gum boards, three coats of oil, and decks extended well past the old footprint.

    Pool areas

    Pool surrounds, cabanas and the spaces around them, finished with good trades alongside, right down to the tiling.

  6. 06

    Concrete curves

    The curved concrete forms that have been trending lately. It takes careful setting out and formwork to get those lines right.

  7. 07

    Finish carpentry

    The small things that finish a job properly. Brass French door striker plates and the details that give a job its high end finish.

The Kookaburra build.

After many homes and transformations for other people, Coast Mountain Building has started one of its own. Two years in the making, soil finally turned, and the whole thing is being documented along the way on Instagram under #kookaburrabuild.

“Caleb and team helped me completely revamp my deck space. Old deck had rotted joists, uneven nails, and generally not level. Caleb's attention to detail was just what I needed as he customized the rebuilding efforts to what I wanted. He also has very good suggestions that added value to the entire project.

Ended up putting brand new spotted gum decking boards and they also helped with a 3 coats of oil. Deck came up real good.

They were always punctual, extremely tidy, and communicated very well throughout the build. Highly recommended and will engage again. Well done guys!”
